07*20 // Relatives Schoensein

RSBookWeb.jpgHi there, lovers of fine arts and music!

Relatives Schoensein is Ro’s masterpiece that he created over the past twelve months and published this July. Since this book means a lot to me, it deserves the full attention regarding this month’s blog post. :-) It’s as much as all the other things I use to post something wonderful and special for your soul, ears, eyes, and mind. Maybe even more, since…

Relatives Schoensein is a non-profit art collaboration. The book shows photographs of excerpts of weathered and partly destroyed street art. For each photograph, there is a soundtrack created by a sound artist. All in all, there are over 40 sound artists (incl. Ro and me) from all over the world (including Australia, Canada, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, UK and USA) who have contributed to this project. They are Amby Downs, Black Lung, Carlo Giustini, C-drík, Conure, Coppice Halifax, Desolate Horizons, Dirk Geiger, Elias Zorn, Ezra Fike, Fail, Francis Theberge, Gallery Six, Hendekagon, INYAN, Iván Muela, Jen Kutler, Joe Hassick, Jóhann Eiriksson, Jo Montgomerie, Kareem, Kid Kozmoe, Mai 12, Marc Benner, Matter, Micromelancolié, Nimon, Nyppy, Olan Mill, Sacha Ratcliffe, Salt, Signalstoerung, Sturqen, TBEX, Thedi, The Empath feat. Cosmic Noise Crew, The [Law-Rah] Collective, Veronica Moser, Vrum, Wajid Yaseen, Yann Novak, 16Pad Noise Terrorist.

This book is limited to 100, and there will be a download code for this compilation of tracks within the book. There are still some copies left, so go ahead, get your own Relatives Schoensein, and enjoy the art! :-)

adventurous music feat. inyan: best of female voices #4

Hello readers and listeners! Here we go with the last round of my Female Voices selection. It’s mix #4 and I chose Breakage, Underhill, Massive Attack, Banks, Lorde, Emika, M.I.A., Die Antwoord, Venetian Snares and CocoRosie. In fact, it’s all about very eclectic Electronica with breaks and a bit Pop. Some songs are very special, some of them you might know, ’cause these women are quite popular.

Well, I don’t know what you think, but I enjoyed these selections a lot. In fact, #2 and #3 got into the Mixcloud charts and #2 even reached top 20 (16th) in the Indie section. (Not that I know how these charts work, but it’s nice to have some kind of feedback.)

So please have fun listening and a great day anyway! :-)

PS: Best of Female Voices #1#2 and #3.

PPS: I am INYAN. And this is Adventurous Music. ;-)
