Like I said before, I was very busy last weekend.
On Friday night I went to Tapetenwerk for art hunting. I really like this place. It is more than a hundred years old and was a factory for wall papers before. Compared to other artist studio and networking places in LEipzig it is kind of young, small, and a hidden place. But that’s also something I like at lot. They have studios and exhibitions with paintings, photography and sculptures. They also have a lot of other nice things there like a co-working space with a pretty cool roof-deck, a great shop for skater, a cafeteria to recommend, and many more. What inspired me most is the photographs taken by Michael Bader. They were really impressing.
Tapetenwerk is located between two artist hot spot areas, Plagwitz and Leutzsch, and it is really worth a short trip.
